Change in particulars of non-executive director

In accordance with Listing Rule LR9.6.14, SABMiller plc announces that its non-executive director, Mr Rob Pieterse, has stepped down from the board of Mecom Group plc with effect from 16 January 2009. 

Mecom Group plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
