Change in particulars of non-executive director

In accordance with Listing Rule LR9.6.14, SABMiller plc announces that its non-executive director, Ms Maria Ramos, has stepped down from the board of Sanlam Limited with effect from 2 December 2008. 

Sanlam Limited is listed on the Johannesburg and Namibian Stock Exchanges.
