STERLING BOND ISSUE
FirstGroup plc (`The Group') announces that it has today issued GBP200,000,000
6.875 per cent. bonds due 18 September 2024.
As announced on 9 September 2009, in line with the Group's strategy to extend
its debt duration and reduce reliance on bank debt, the proceeds will be used
to repay existing bank debt.
